People with BPD are well known in the medical profession, for only seeking help when in crisis. ?????? Why would we seek help if we are not in crisis? if we feel we can cope, we can hang on in there.
I don't want to bother people with my problems, I feel like they are over the top, if I tell someone how I really feel they will accuse me of being over dramatic, tell me to stop exaggerating or call me a drama queen.
When I feel like I am breaking inside, that there is a huge hole in chest that makes me feel empty. When my thoughts are turning dark, my problems seem to hard to solve. I feel like I am the only one who can think or feel like this.
This is when I need someone.....someone to listen and say it's okay, I have been there too. Someone to understand and help me see a way through. Just having someone to validate and listen is all we need.
I still have bad days, hours, minutes but with positivity they are getting less and less. I can think about some of the bad times now without feeling like my heart will explode from hurt. I can smile and feel at peace because I now know who I am and what I stand for. I know what is important in my life. I feel whole at last.
Time to change?
The time to change? It has to be your own decision, as it is hard work. You have to be prepared for it to get worse before it gets better.......So if you are ready and are feeling lost in life, feeling empty? Feel like life is passing you by? Make the choice, there is a way out.
Find out who you are? Find out what makes you tick, what makes you happy? How you can earn money from your passions. Life doesn't have to just happen to you.....you can design the life you want, with positivity.
Why do you need to ask these questions? Because if your not happy then the only person who can change that is you.....we can fix the problems, if we only know what they are.....
